Ingredients
4 ripe bananas
25g butter
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
5 tbsp rum or whisky
3 tbsp clear honey
50 g walnuts, coarsely chopped
Method
1) cut the bananas into thick slices, melt the butter in a pan and fry the bananas slices until soft, keep them warm on a plate
2) add the cinnamon to the butter in the pan, then the rum and honey and cook until the sauce thickens slightly, stir in the walnuts
3) pour the sauce over the warm bananas and serve with double cream or vanilla ice cream.
