Ingredients
1 celery stick
2 spring onions
25g shelled walnuts
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp chopped fresh dill or 1/2 tsp dried dill
1 garlic clove crushed
dash of Worcestershire sauce
115 g cottage cheese
2 tbsp butter melted
2 oz blue cheese, such as St Augure or Rocquefort
1 hard boil egg chopped
salt and pepper to taste
Method
1) finely chop the celery, spring onions and the walnuts, place in a bowl add the chopped herbs , garlic and the Worcestershire sauce, mix well, then stir the cottage cheese, mix well, grate the blue cheese finely into the mixture, and add the boiled egg, season to taste , slowly stir in the melted butter and mix well, then refrigerate until completely chilled, overnight
Serve with fresh, crusty bread
