Ingredients
300g 10 1/2 oz cranberries
100g 31/2 oz light soft brown sugar
juice and zest of a large orange
port or sherry
Method
1) Heat the cranberries ,sugar the juice and zest of the orange in a pan until the berries have burst and the mixture forms a thick sauce
2) leave to cool, then spoon into a serving jug, for an added kick, add a little port or sherry, this can easily be made few days before.
