Ingredients
200 g linguine or spaghetti
1 onion, finely chopped
1 steak 250g-300d, thinly sliced
4 tomatoes, roughly chopped
1/2 garlic clove, finely chopped
2 sun-dry tomatoes in oil, dry and chopped
1 handful black olives, pitted and finely chopped
2 tbsp basil leaves
salt and pepper to taste
Method
1) cook the pasta according to the packet instructions
2) fry the onion in olive oil for 2 minutes then add the garlic, cook for 3 more minutes, add the steak and brown all over
3) stir in the tomatoes and cook until they break down, add the olives and sun-dry tomatoes, season to taste
4) toss the steak mixture through the pasta along with the basil.
