Prosciutto with Figs Recipe

Ingredients

12 paper-thin slices prosciutto

8 ripe green or black figs

crusty bread and unsalted butter to serve

Method

1) separate the slices of prosciutto and arrange them decoratively, in a spiral pattern, on a large serving platter

2) wipe the figs with a damp cloth, cut them almost into quarters but not cut all the way through the base

3) arrange the figs on top of the slices of prosciutto, serve with crusty bread and unsalted butter
