Spicy Fish Balls

Ingredients

1 pound 500 g fish fillets
1 onion, quartered
1 bunch fresh parsley leaves ,coarsely chopped
1 slice white bread, crusts removed
¼ cup milk
½ tsp salt
½ tsp cayenne pepper
½ tsp dried marjoram
1 head celery; coarsely chopped, leaves discarded
1 tbsp oil
2 cups stock or water

Method

1) in a food processor, puree the fish with the onion and parsley

2) soak the bread in milk, then squeeze it dry.

3) stir the bread to the fish mixture and season with salt, cayenne pepper and marjoram.

4) form 1/2- inch balls with the fish mixture

5) over high heat, bring to a boil, the oil and the stock then add the fish balls

6) simmer on a very low heat, the fish balls, partially covered, for 8 minutes,.stir in the celery, cover the pot, and simmer for an additional 20 minutes.
